Gonzaga placed three athletes in the top five in the women's 6-kilometer race at the West Coast Conference Cross Country Championships, highlighted by sophomore Rosina Machu winning in 20:28.8 at Pepperdine's Alumni Park in Malibu, Calif. Sadie Tuckwood, a senior, finished fourth in 21:08.3 and freshman Jessica Frydenlund took fifth in 21:25.7 for Gonzaga, which secured second place as a team by a 40-46 margin behind Portland.
