Brigham Young senior Sara Musselman and junior McKenna Lee placed fifth and seventh, respectively, for the Cougars, who captured their third consecutive West Coast Conference team championship Wednesday at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. Musselman covered the 6-kilometer course in 20:28.1 and Lee ran 20:41.1 for BYU, which placed five scorers in the top 11 and had nine athletes in the top 20 overall to prevail by a 28-49 margin over Portland. Musselman improved from ninth place at the 2019 final.
