Portland senior Victoria Weir and junior Stella Gillman finished sixth and eighth, respectively, for the Pilots on Wednesday at the West Coast Conference Cross Country Championships at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. Weir covered the 6-kilometer course in 20:32.9 and Gillman ran 20:42.5 to help Portland finish second with 49 points, taking runner-up behind Brigham Young for the third year in a row. Weir improved from 21st at the 2019 final and Gillman was making her first appearance at the conference championship since taking 49th overall in 2017.
